GroupM Entertainment, Graphic India and producer James Marshall will partner for a live-action TV series called “The Adventurers Club” aimed for Canada, U.S. and international markets.

GroupM Entertainment, led by veteran entertainment executive Peter Tortorici, will share executive producer credit and ownership of the series, including syndication rights. In addition to financing, GME will lend creative and strategic support to the show’s creators with the goal of seeing the property entertain audiences worldwide.

Marshall, who has worked on “Smallville,” “Falling Skies,” and other series, and Graphic India co-founders, Sharad Devarajan and Gotham Chopra created the series and will serve as executive producers. Television writer Sam Egan will write the pilot and is also a producer.

Part of WPP-owned media-investment arm GroupM, GroupM Entertainment tries to identify and create opportunities for advertisers to support content. Graphic India was formed by Liquid Comics and CA Media, the Asian investment arm of the Chernin Group.
