Super Saturday is about to get a little more super.
The Ovarian Cancer Research Fund’s Super Saturday, a New York-only event for its first 19 years, will be expanding to Los Angeles for its 20th anniversary. The fundraiser offers premier fashion for women, men and kids, and other goodies at up to half off the manufacturer’s suggested retail price. Net proceeds will support the org’s research grants.
The event, to be held from 11 a.m.-5 p.m. May 17 at the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, will be hosted by fashion couple Rachel Zoe and Rodger Berman, actress-model Molly Sims and producer Scott Stuber. Zoe and Sims have lost friends and family to ovarian cancer, making this a personal cause for them.
Last year’s Hamptons event raised approximately $3 million, and the L.A. version is hoping to match that number. This year’s New York fundraiser will be held July 26 in the Hamptons.
VIP tickets to Super Saturday L.A. are available for $400, and include early access (10 a.m.) to luxury designer merchandise, preferred parking, a VIP area and expedited sales process. General admission tickets are $250 ($100 after 1:30 p.m.); $50 for children ages 6-16 (kids 5 and under are admitted free); and $20 per pup.
