Pharrell’s Grammys Hat Is a Big Deal on Twitter

The Grammys may have been void of a twerking Miley Cyrus, but it’s managed to take social media by storm thanks to a certain piece of headgear — and it’s not Daft Punk’s.

Since the moment usually stylish producer Pharrell Williams hit the red carpet, his giant brown hat has been making waves on Twitter. It didn’t take long for a Twitter account titled “@Pharrellhat” to show up, which, as of press time, had already found more than 400 followers.

Along with references to Smokey the Bear, the hat has also drawn comparisons to the Arby’s logo — who joined in on the fun.

Even with the mocking, Williams is having a good night: He earlier won the Grammy for producer of the year, non-classical.
