Performances of the “Jesus Christ Superstar Arena Spectacular” previously scheduled for the Honda Center on July 20 and Staples Center on July 26 have been cancelled, organizer Options Clause Entertainment (an affiliate of S2BN Entertainment) announced Friday.

All purchased tickets will be refunded at the point of purchase, and those purchased online and over the phone will be automatically refunded. Tickets purchased from outlets or the venue box office must be returned to that location in order to obtain a refund.

The production’s arena tour features Incubus lead singer Brandon Boyd as Judas Iscariot, former ‘N Sync member JC Chasez playing Pontius Pilate and Destiny’s Child alum Michelle Williams as female lead Mary Magdalene. Former Sex Pistols vocalist John Rotten Lydon (aka Johnny Rotten) plays King Herod, and British actor and singer Ben Forster reprises his role as Jesus.
