Lionsgate has set a Christmas 2015 release date for the Robert De Niro-Zac Efron comedy tentatively titled “Dirty Grandpa.”

The project came together less than a week ago with Bill Block’s QED attaching the actors. Dan Mazer (“Da Ali G Show”) is on board to direct the film from John Phillips’ script.

Efron will portray an uptight groom who, just before his wedding, is tricked into driving his vulgar former Army general to Florida for spring break.
