Watch: First Trailer for James Franco and Seth Rogen’s ‘The Interview’

Wackiness abounds in Sony’s first trailer for “The Interview” starring James Franco and Seth Rogen.

Franco portrays the host of a nighttime talk show “Skylark Tonight,” with Rogen as his best friend and producer, and secures an interview with Kim Jong-Un, the mysterious and ruthless dictator of North Korea. The duo is then approached by the CIA and asked to assassinate Jong-Un.

Lizzy Caplan’s character warns them in the trailer: “You are entering into the most dangerous country on earth. Kim Jong-Un’s people believe whatever he tells them, including that he speaks to dolphins and does not urinate or defecate.”

The film is directed by Rogen and Evan Goldberg, who also produced with James Weaver.

Sony releases the film on Oct. 10.
