While the days of completely hand-drawn animation may be a thing of the past, Disney has given Variety an exclusive look at how CG might be able to recreate that 1920s charm with a new CG animation test.

In the short Mickey has a little trouble lifting a 100-pound weight, so he calls upon the help of his horse friend, Horace. Of course, not all goes as planned when the mouse stretches out his arms and can’t return them to normal.

Although Adam Green, CG head of animation on the short, used CG to create the test, the animated short maintains the old-school, classic Disney feel.
