In a pre-Berlin deal, Kennedy Brice (“The Walking Dead”) has come on board to star in the supernatural thriller “June,” with shooting scheduled for early spring.
Raven Banner Entertainment has picked up worldwide sales rights and will start selling “June” at The European Film Market in Berlin.
L. Gustavo Cooper (“Velvet Road”) will direct from a script he co-wrote with Sharon Y. Cobb. Gregor Habsburg (“Hellbenders”) and Duane A. Sikes will produce with Raven Banner partners Michael Paszt, James Fler and Andrew T Hunt.
“June” centers on a 9-year-old orphan who shares her body with Aer, an ancient supernatural being whose mission is to destroy mankind to allow nature to prevail on earth.
Brice, who played one of the small children living in the prison on “Walking Dead,” is represented by Premier Models and Talent and J. Pervis Talent. Cooper and Habsburg are represented by Shahrokh Sheik of Kramer Holcomb Sheik LLP.
