Got Your 6, the collective impact campaign designed to help bridge the military-civilian divide, has made new hires to help support the movement to empower veterans.

Cindy Goldberg has been hired as director of development. She  is responsible for the expansion and execution of the campaign’s fundraising activities, primarily focused on corporate and foundation relations, stewardship and special events.

Army veteran Kate Hoit joins as director of communications. Her role is to create a multichannel communication strategy for Got Your 6 to expand the reach and influence of the campaign’s message. Hoit previously worked at the U.S. Department of Veteran Affairs, where she developed digital engagement and Congressional communications policy.

Lastly, Julia Tivald has been hired as the director of strategy. Tivald will focus on long-term strategic planning and program implementation for the campaign, in addition to serving as the liaison between Got Your 6 and its more than 30 nonprofit partners.

“Over the last two years, Got Your 6 has seen tremendous growth and overall campaign support as we lead the veteran empowerment movement,” said Chris Marvin, managing director of the Got Your 6 campaign. “Cindy, Kate, and Julia bring experience, creativity, and a passion for the cause that will allow us to continue this trajectory.”
