The all-singing first trailer for “The Last Five Years,” starring Anna Kendrick and Jeremy Jordan, has been released.

Radius plans to release the film on Valentine’s Day in the U.S., while Icon is handling the release in the U.K.

“The Last Five Years” had its world premiere at the Toronto Film Festival in September. It’s directed by Richard LaGravenese and based on Jason Robert Brown’s off-Broadway musical about the demise of a marriage from the perspectives of the successful writer husband and his struggling actress wife.

The trailer reveals the structure of the film, beginning as the marriage is ending, going back to the beginning, and then progressing backwards (through Kendrick’s songs) and forwards (through Jordan’s songs).
