Tim Heidecker, Nick Kroll, Kaitlin Olson and Michael Pena have joined the cast of New Line’s “Vacation” sequel.

The quartet will portray the Four Corners cops. Jonathan Goldstein and John Francis Daley are directing from their own script. The film has been shooting in Georgia and New Mexico.

David Dobkin is producing through his David Dobkin Prods. along with Chris Bender. Jeff Kleeman and Marc Fischer are exec producing.

Ed Helms is starring as Rusty Griswold, the grown-up son of Clark Griswold (portrayed by Chevy Chase in the 1983 film), who takes a family trip similar to the one he took as a boy. Leslie Mann is playing Rusty’s sister Audrey Griswold, who was played by Dana Barron in the 1983 original.

New Line plans to release “Vacation” on Oct. 9.
