The Provincetown International Film Festival will honor Patricia Clarkson and Debra Winger at its 16th anniversary celebration.

Clarkson will be receiving the 2014 Excellence in Acting Award. She stars in “Last Weekend,” directed by Tom Dolby & Tom William, which will be PIFF’s opening night film.

Winger (“Rachel Getting Married”) will receive the Faith Hubley Career Achievement Award during the Conversations with Honorees ceremony at Provincetown’s Town Hall on June 21.

“We are delighted to honor Patricia Clarkson and Debra Winger at this year’s festival,” said Connie White, PIFF’s artistic director. “It is perfect timing to honor Patti, as we can celebrate her remarkable talent and also spotlight her beautiful performance in ‘Last Weekend’ as our opening night selection. In choosing Debra, we get to highlight one of our favorite actresses and a career shaped by thoughtful and intelligent artistic choices, a hallmark of the annual Faith Hubley tribute.”

The festival will close with the North American premiere of Jonathan Demme’s “A Master Builder.”

PIFF takes place June 18 to 22 in Provincetown, Mass.
