New York-based distributor Paladin has picked up Michael Walker’s thriller “The Maid’s Room” for a theatrical and digital release this spring.

Starring Paula Garces (“Devious Maids”), Bill Camp and Annabella Sciorra, the title preemed in the fall at the Hamptons Intl. Film Festival. International rights are being hawked at Berlin’s European Film Market by London-based sales shingle Devilworks.

Storyline centers on a maid (Garces) who begins to suspect her employers’ son (Philip Ettinger) has committed a terrible crime during a summerlong vacation at the family’s beach house in the Hamptons. Dolly Hall produces the film by writer-director Walker (“Price Check,” “Chasing Sleep”).

Topped by Mark Urman, Paladin adds “The Maid’s Room” to a slate that also includes “A Short History of Decay,” another HIFF alum that will hit theaters in April.
