“The Transporter Legacy” produced by Luc Besson’s EuropaCorp, is set to travel worldwide.

EuropaCorp’s sales team, which is led by Marie-Laure Montironi, has closed with Asmik Ace (Japan), Icon (Australia), Canada (VVS), Central Partnership (Russia), Nu Metro (South Africa), DeAPlaneta Distribution (Spain) and AQS (Czech Republic).

Relativity EuropaCorp Distribution will release the movie in the U.S. on June 19.

Luc Besson’s EuropaCorp is producing with Mark Gao’s Fundamental Films, which will release the movies in China as part of an output deal.

Penned by Bill Collage and Adam Cooper, the action-thriller reboot of the successful “Transporter” franchise is set in France’s criminal underworld and stars Ed Skrein (“Game of Thrones”) as Frank Martin (the titular Transporter), a mercenary who sets off to take down a group of ruthless Russian human traffickers.

“Transporter Legacy” pre-sold to Universum and RTL for Germany, Belgium’s Belga Films, Gulf for the Middle East (which all have output deals with EuropaCorp), as well as Lusomundo in Portugal.

At the AFM, EuropaCorp unveiled “Shut In,” a new thriller toplining Naomi Watts, and “Underground,” and is continuing sales on “Warriors’ Gate,” “Sea at War,” “DNA” as well as the animated feature “108 Demons,” which is screening at the market.
