Legendary Entertainment and Universal Pictures have announced the first two release dates under their new partnership, including Guillermo del Toro’s “Crimson Peak” for Oct. 16, 2015.
They have also dated the found footage pic “As Above So Below” for Aug. 15, 2014. With Elizabeth Banks now set as director, Universal has dated “Pitch Perfect 2” for May 15, 2015.
“Crimson Peak” stars Jessica Chastain, Charlie Hunnam, Mia Wasikowska and Tom Hiddleston.
Universal also announced release dates for Liam Neeson’s “A Walk Among Tombstones,” which will bow on Sept. 19, 2014; “Ouija” for Oct. 24, 2014; and “Everest,” which is a co-production with Working Title, for Feb. 27, 2015.
Illumination also dated an untitled pets pic for Feb. 12, 2016.
