Barkhad Abdi, Mike Birbiglia and Jon Glaser Eye Judd Apatow’s ‘Trainwreck’ (EXCLUSIVE)

John Cena, Ezra Miller and Vanessa Bayer have also joined the cast

Barkhad Abdi, Mike Birbiglia and Jon Glaser are in negotiations to join Judd Apatow and Universal’s “Trainwreck.”

Vanessa Bayer, John Cena, and Ezra Miller are also in talks to join the cast. Tilda Swinton in early talks to join as well.

Amy Schumer is set to star with Bill Hader and Brie Larson also on attached. Apatow will direct.

U acquired the script from Schumer, who is also helping develop the project. Plot details are being kept under wraps.

Apatow will also produce for his Universal-based Apatow Productions. Senior VP of production Erik Baiers oversees the project for the studio.

Abdi is repped by SMS Talent and the part marks his major role since landing an Oscar nomination in Sony’s “Captain Phillips.”

Bayer can still be seen on “Saturday Night Live” and Birbiglia can be seen next in “The Fault in Our Stars,” “Annie” and “Sleepwalk With Me.” Miller can be seen next in “Madame Bovary” and Glaser can be seen next on “Girls” and “Parks and Recreation.”

Bayer is repped by WME, Birbiglia is repped by UTA Marcy Morris Barry Tyerman, Miller is repped by Paradigm and Hamilton Hodell, Glaser is repped by CAA and 3 Arts and Cena is repped by ICM Partners.
