Director, writer and producer Judd Apatow will be honored with media institution Paley Center for Media’s second-annual Paleyfest icon award.
“The Paley Center has enjoyed a long and fantastic history with Judd Apatow, who currently reigns as one of the most sought-after innovators in all media,” said Paley Center for Media president and CEO Pat Mitchell.
Apatow, whose TV success includes HBO’s “Girls” and cult hits “Freaks and Geeks,” “The Ben Stiller Show” and “Undeclared,” will be feted on March 10 at the Center’s Beverly Hills location. This will also serve as the kickoff event for this year’s PaleyFest, which is being held March 13-28 at the Dolby Theatre at Hollywood and Highland.
