James Gandolfini’s Last Film ‘The Drop’ Gets Trailer

Fox Searchlight has released the trailer for James Gandolfini’s final film “The Drop,” which is due out Sept. 19.

Gandolfini, who came on to the project early last year, stars with Tom Hardy, Noomi Rapace and Matthias Schoenaerts.

Michael Roskam directed from a script Dennis Lehane adapted from his own short story. It follows a man who wants to shed his criminal past, but gets mixed up in a bad heist and a killing. Hardy portrays a bartender employed by his cousin (Gandolfini) in the center of a robbery gone awry.
