James D’Arcy to Co-Star With Hayley Atwell in Marvel’s ‘Agent Carter’ (EXCLUSIVE)

James D’Arcy is set to join the cast of Marvel’s ABC drama series “Agent Carter” opposite Hayley Atwell.

Enver Gjokaj and Chad Michael Murray are also aboard.

Inspired by the feature films “Captain America: The First Avenger” and “Captain America: The Winter Soldier,” the series stars Captain America’s Hayley Atwell as Peggy Carter. It’s 1946, and peace has dealt her a serious blow as she finds herself marginalized when the men return home from fighting abroad. Working for the covert Strategic Scientific Reserve, Peggy must balance doing administrative work and going on secret missions for Howard Stark all while trying to navigate life as a single woman in America, in the wake of losing the love of her life – Steve Rogers.

D’Arcy will play Howard Stark’s butler and ally to Agent Carter.

D’Arcy was most recently seen as the villain in Fox’s “Let’s Be Cops” and can be seen next in Warner Bros. “Jupiter Ascending.” He is repped by CAA, Management 360 and Markham Froggatt and Irwin.
