ICM Partners has hired veteran talent agent Steve Alexander as a partner in its Los Angeles office.
Alexander represents David Duchovny, Tatiana Maslany of “Orphan Black” and Joy Bryant of “Parenthood.” He’s best known for representing the late Heath Ledger while at CAA.
Alexander has been at Jeff Berg’s Resolution since early last year. It’s the second major departure this month for Berg’s company following Dennis Kim leaving as head of the TV literary department.
Alexander began his agency career at CAA, where he also represented Natalie Portman, Jared Leto, Jeff Bridges, Johnny Knoxville, Kim Basinger and Eddie Izzard. After his tenure at CAA, Alexander joined Atlas Entertainment, where he worked for three years until joining Resolution.
Alexander brings the agency’s total number of partners to 39.
