“The past is just a story we tell ourselves,” Scarlett Johansson’s character tells Theodore (Joaquin Phoenix) in the movie “Her.”

With the WGA Awards approaching this weekend, it looks like Warner Bros. wants to revisit “Her’s” recent award-winning past by releasing a featurette that showcases new, behind-the-scenes footage that gives an intimate look into filmmaker Spike Jonze’s creative process in the making of the film.

The nearly four minute video intertwines scenes from the movie with shots of Jonze working on the movie from writing the script to the final product. It also takes a look at Phoenix on set, both hanging out and filming. Overlaying the imagery is narration from Johansson’s and Phoenix’s characters.

Among the film’s accolades is a WGA Award nomination for Jonze’s screenplay.

The film has also received five Oscar noms: Best Picture, Original Screenplay, Production Design for K.K. Barrett and Gene Serdena, Original Score for William Butler and Owen Pallett and Original Song (“Moon Song”) with music by Karen O. and lyrics by Karen O and Jonze.
