Giovanni Ribisi, Ty Simpkins, Kid Cudi Heading to ‘Meadowland’

Giovanni Ribisi, Ty Simpkins, Scott Mescudi (aka Kid Cudi), Mark Feuerstein, Kevin Corrigan and Juno Temple have joined Bron Studios’ drama “Meadowland.”

Olivia Wilde, Luke Wilson, Elisabeth Moss and Natasha Lyonne have been previously announced for the project, the directorial debut of cinematographer Reed Morano from a screenplay by Chris Rossi.

The film begins principal photography in New York City on Monday.

Bron Studios is producing in association with Creative Wealth Media Finance. Matt Tauber and Olivia Wilde serve as producers with Bron’s Aaron L. Gilbert and Margot Hand.

Wilde and Wilson will play a couple dealing with their son’s disappearance. Wilson will portray a New York City policeman while Wilde will go down an unexpected path towards acceptance as she places herself in increasingly dangerous situations.

Ribisi starred in “A Million Ways to Die in the West” and the TV series “Dads.” Simpkins recently completed production on “Jurassic World” and Cudi will be featured in the upcoming “Two Night Stand.” Feuerstein just wrapped season six of his USA series “Royal Pains.”

WME and Gersh are representing domestic rights on “Meadowland.”
