In a pre-Berlin announcement, veteran foreign sales agent Nadine de Barros, financier/producer Daniel Wagner and producer Robert Ogden Barnum have partnered to launch Fortitude International as a sales and financing outfit based in Los Angeles.

De Barros will be meeting with buyers at the upcoming European Film Market at the Berlinale.

Fortitude will also fully finance film projects. It plans to finance and sell 10-15 movies a year with equity, bridge and senior debt. It also plans to finance TV series and miniseries.

De Barros most recently served as head of sales at Aldamisa International, and was previously VP at Voltage Pictures. She handled sales on “The Hurt Locker,” “Sin City 2” and “Chef.”

Wagner’s BiFrost Pictures launched last year at Cannes and has recently greenlit Miles Davis biography “Kill the Trumpet Player,” which will star and be directed by Don Cheadle. Other projects include Jake Paltrow’s Sundance entry “Young Ones” with Michael Shannon and Nicholas Hoult and Paul Bettany’s directorial debut “Shelter” starring Jennifer Connelly and Anthony Mackie.

Barnum is also a producer on “Kill the Trumpet Player” and “Shelter” and an exec producer on “All Is Lost.” He  is a co-founder of the financing firm e2b Capital with Cassian Elwes and worked as an executive at Benaroya Pictures and Annapurna Pictures.
