‘Second Coming’ Scores in 3D

Proving that 3D is still a concept with business legs in Asia, All Rights Entertainment has done brisk sales business on stereoscopic horror film “The Second Coming.”

Directed by Herman Yau (“Ip Man: The Final Fight”), the film is supposedly based on real events. It tells a tale of migrants who moved to Hong Kong in the 1970s, commit a crime and successfully hide it. However, when their daughter becomes haunted they are forced to confront their past – and endure the surprising consequences of their misdeeds.

Hong Kong- and Paris-based All Rights licensed the film to Vietnam Media Corp for Vietnam, to Westec Media for Cambodia, to Njuta Film for Sweden and Finland and to Pandastorm Pictures for Germany, Austria, Lichtenstein and German-speaking Switzerland.

The film recently also enjoyed theatrical releases in Singapore, Malaysia and Brunei. It receives two market screenings at FilMart.
