Other European sales include Romania and Hungary (Prorom), CIS (All Media), Poland (Kino Swiat), and Yugoslavia (Cinemania/Discovery). Svensk will distribute across Scandinavia and Iceland.

California Filmes has taken the film for South and Central America, and Gulf Film for the Middle East.

Deals for South Asia include Japan (Kadokawa), Indonesia (PT Prima), South Korea (Korea Screen), and Thailand (Mono Group).

In Cannes, UTA Independent Film Group closed deals on behalf of the filmmakers with A24 for the U.S., and Mongrel Media for Canada.

Julius Avery’s debut feature, which is based on his original screenplay, stars McGregor alongside rising stars Brenton Thwaites and Alicia Vikander in a tautly-paced heist thriller, centered on a complex relationship between Australia’s public enemy number one (McGregor) and his young protege (Thwaites).

Pic is produced by Timothy White through Southern Light Films, with Janelle Landers of WBMC co-producing. Aaron L. Gilbert of Media House Capital serves as executive producer, along with John Collee, Bryce Menzies, Michael Spiccia, James Dean, Richard East and Aidan O’Bryan. The feature was financed by Media House Capital with production investment from Screen Australia, Daydream Productions, Deluxe Australia, Kojo, Screen NSW and ScreenWest.
