The story follows a border patrol agent who, after recently losing his wife and child, goes on the run with a boy whose family was recently killed by the cartel. He soon finds out both sides of the law have their sights on him and the boy.
IM Global is fully financing the pic and will introduce the film to buyers in Berlin. Rory Aitken and Ben Pugh are producing with IM Global’s Stuart Ford and Matt Jackson exec producing.
Pine was last seen in “Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit” and is repped by CAA and John Carrabino Management. The Hollywood Reporter first reported the news.
