‘Chef’ Actor Emjay Anthony Joins ‘Insurgent’ Cast

“Chef” actor Emjay Anthony has joined the cast of “The Divergent Series: Insurgent,” the second installment of the Lionsgate franchise.

Anthony will portray Hector in the film, starring Shailene Woodley and currently in production in Atlanta. In the Veronica Roth trilogy, the character is a Dauntless-born brother of the Shauna and Lynn characters.

Insurgent” stars Woodley, Theo James,and Kate Winslet and is directed by Robert Schwentke from a screenplay by Brian Duffield and Akiva Goldsman. The film opens March 20, 2015.

Anthony starred in “Chef” as an apprentice cook and the son of Jon Favreau’s character.
