Channing Tatum in Talks to Join the Coens’ ‘Hail Caesar!’ (EXCLUSIVE)

“22 Jump Street” star Channing Tatum is in negotiations to join the cast of Joel and Ethan Coen’s “Hail Caesar!”

He joins George Clooney and Josh Brolin. The Coen brothers are writing and directing the pic.

Universal will distribute with the Coens producing, along with Eric Fellner and Tim Bevan for Working Title Films.

The story follows a Hollywood fixer in the 1950s who is working to keep a studio’s stars in line.

Tatum has already seen great success working with Phil Lord and Chris Miller on “21 Jump Street” and “22 Jump Street” and also recently worked with the Wachowski siblings on “Jupiter Ascending,” which bows in February. He can be seen next in Sony Classics’ “Foxcatcher.”

He is repped by UTA and Management 360.

Steubenville, the sort of Friday-night-lights small town that boasts signs that read “Kick off for Jesus,” is a place that’s good at keeping secrets. When the [...]
