Catherine Deneuve is set to reunite with “On My Way” helmer Emmanuelle Bercot for drama “Standing Tall,” one of the buzzed-about French films on Elle Driver’s Cannes slate.

Powered by Adeline Fontan Tessaur and Eva Diederix, Paris-based Elle Driver has shifted into high gear with high-caliber French projects like “Standing Tall” and Benoit Jacquot’s “Diary of a Chambermaid,” an adaptation of Octave Mirbeau’s classic novel toplining Lea Seydoux and Vincent Lindon.

Co-written by Helene Zimmer, “Chambermaid” brings together Jacquot, his “Farewell, My Queen” star Seydoux, sales company Elle Driver and producers Kristina Larsen for Les Films du Lendemain and Jean-Pierre Guerin for JPG Films.

Deneuve plays a children’s magistrate in “Standing Tall,” an uplifting drama that centers on a young delinquent’s coming of age. Benoit Magimel (“Little White Lies”) and Sara Forestier (“Suzanne”) also star. Les film du Kiosque is producing with Wild Bunch, which is also distributing in France.

We’ve don’t care about trends and credentials, we look everywhere to find projects and filmmakers who have strong point of view and have compelling stories to tell, and we come on board very early on, said Fontan-Tessaur.

Elle Driver also handled Bercot’s “On My Way” which premiered in Berlin and earned Deneuve a Cesar nomination. Along with Rebecca Zlotowski (“Grand Central”), Bercot is one of the talented young femme filmmakers on Elle Driver’s radar.  The company doesn’t only follows French female directors: It showed its guts by boarding Leslye Headland’s “Bachelorette” at script stage and sold it worldwide.

Elle Driver’s strong femme-flavored lineup also boasts Isabel Coixet’s “Nobody Wants The Night,” now shooting with Juliette Binoche and Gabriel Byrne  and thesp-turned-helmer Audrey Dana’s edgy debut “French Woman” with Isabelle Adjani and Audrey Fleurot, screening at the market.  Fontan-Tessaur says however

Following the young generation of directors from France and abroad, Elle Driver is also selling Djinn Carrenard’s Directors’ Fortnight preeming “Faire l’amour,” Morgan Neville’s Oscar-winning doc “Twenty Feet From Stardom,” and rising genre helmers Tommy Wirkola’s “Dead Snow 2,” Taika Waititi and Jemaine Clement’s “What We Do In The Shadows,” and Gustavo Hernandez’ “Local Gold.”

Besides “Making Love,” Elle Driver also has French critically-aclaimed auteur Andre Techine’s “In The Name of My Daughter.”
