Berlin: Nikki Reed Receives ‘Email’ Horror Role

Shooting set for Singapore in May

“Twilight” star Nikki Reed has come on board Kelvin Tong’s upcoming horror movie “Email,” which will go into production in Singapore in May.

Highland Film Group will handle worldwide sales and introduce the title to buyers at the European Film Market next week in Berlin.

Email” is produced by SPJ Enterprises, Zgreen Entertainment and Boku Films. Peter Poon and Zachary Green are producing along with Leon Tong and Kat Goh in Singapore. Jason Shuman (“The Messengers”) will exec produce.

Reed will portray a journalist who travels to Singapore to investigate the mysterious circumstances of her sister’s death and discovers a string of bizarre killings involving a cursed email.

Reed recently finished filming “Scout” with Ellen Burstyn and Jane Seymour and “Murder of a Cat” with Greg Kinnear, Blythe Danner and J.K. Simmons. She is repped by Paradigm, Thruline Entertainment and attorney Lev Ginsburg.
