U.S. scribe Dalan Musson has been tapped to pen Timo Vuorensola’s “Iron Sky: The Coming Race,” a sequel of the Finnish/German/Australian sci-fi spoof about Nazis on the moon.
Project reteams Musson (“Ragnorok”) and Vuorensola, who worked together on Warner Bros.’ “Jeremiah Harm,” based on the action/sci-fi comicbook.
The Finnish Film Foundation and Medienboard Berlin-Brandenburg have come board to finance the film, which is produced by Tero Kaukomaa via the newly launched company Iron Sky Universe, and co-produced by Oliver Damian from German shingle 27 Films.
With an estimated budget of $13 million, “The Coming Race” is one of the most ambitious projects being developed in Finland.
