Amber Heard has joined Channing Tatum in Warner Bros.’ male stripper sequel “Magic Mike XXL.”

Alex Pettyfer, Matt Bomer and Joe Manganiello are also reprising their roles from the 2012 original, which was a surprise hit with $167 million in worldwide box office. Tatum and Reid Carolin are producing with Gregory Jacobs, who is also directing.

The sequel will open July 1.

Heard was most recently seen in “3 Days to Kill” and will be seen next in “London Fields” with Billy Bob Thornton, “The Adderall Diaries” opposite James Franco and “When I Live My Life Over Again” with Christopher Walken.

She is repped by WME and Karl Austen at Jackoway Tyerman.
