Amanda Seyfreid rounds out the cast of Warner Bros.’ Peter Pan movie, in which she will play Mary.
She joins Levi Miller, who will play Peter Pan; Hugh Jackman, who will essay the pirate Blackbeard; Garrett Hedlund, who will play Hook; and Rooney Mara, who will play Tiger Lily.
Jack Charles, Taejoo Na, Nonso Anozie, Kathy Burke, Kurt Egyiawan, Lewis MacDougal and newcomer Leni Zieglmeier have also joined the cast.
Joe Wright is directing.
Greg Berlanti, Paul Webster and Sarah Schechter are producing, with Courtenay Valenti and Andrew Fischel overseeing for the studio.
Jason Fuchs penned the script, a new take on the classic story. Set during WWII, it follows an orphan who is kidnapped by pirates and brought to Neverland, where he discovers he’s destined to save the land from the pirate Blackbeard.
The world being created is international — and with a very different title character than previously imagined. Production is under way.
Seyfried, who is repped by Innovative Artists, can be seen next in Seth MacFarlane’s “A Million Ways to Die in the West.”
