LONDON — WestEnd Films has nabbed international rights to Jeremy Saulnier’s thriller “Green Room,” which stars Patrick Stewart, Anton Yelchin (“Star Trek”) and Imogen Poots (“Need for Speed”).
The pic centers on a punk rock band who find themselves trapped in a secluded venue after stumbling on a horrific act of violence. They then must fight for their lives against a gang of white power skinheads.
Anish Savjani and Neil Kopp of Filmscience are producing the film with Broad Green Pictures’ Victor Moyers. Gabriel and Daniel Hammond of Broad Green Pictures along with Vincent Savino of Filmscience will be executive producing the project.
Principal photography began this month in and around Portland.
Broad Green will be releasing the movie in the U.S.
