AFM: Mira Sorvino Joins ‘Daughter of God’ Opposite Keanu Reeves (EXCLUSIVE)

Mira Sorvino has come on board thriller “Daughter of God” opposite Keanu Reeves and Ana de Armas.

Christopher McDonald, Big Daddy Kane, Michael Rispoli and Laura Gomez have also joined the cast. Gee Malik Linton is directing and writing  the project, which is currently shooting principal photography in New York.

Fortitude Internatioal is selling international rights at the American Film Market.

Robin Gurland, Keanu Reeves and Gee Malik Linton are producing the picture along with PalmStar, Taxonomy and Mass Hysteria. CAA and Cassian Elwes are co-repping domestic rights.

The story revolves around the aftermath of a Latina woman witnessesing a miracle and a police detective (Reeves) searching for the truth behind his partner’s death.

Sorvino can be seen starring in the BBC America series “Intruders” as well as recurring on the TNT’s “Falling Skies.”

Sorvino is represented by ICM Partners and Management 360.  McDonald and Rispoli are repped by Gersh.
