John Malkovich and Toni Collette are joining Noomi Rapace, Michael Douglas and Orlando Bloom in the thriller “Unlocked.”
Sales-financing banner Bloom, which introduced the project at Toronto, is selling rights at AFM. CAA is handling domestic rights.
Michael Apted is directing from a screenplay by Peter O’Brien. Lorenzo di Bonaventura is producing with Georgina Townsley and Erik Howsam. Claudia Blumhuber is also producing and financing through Silver Reel.
Shooting began Nov. 3 on the movie, which centers on a CIA interrogator — played by Rapace — who unwittingly provides information to terrorists and then must race against the clock to stop a biological warfare attack on London.
Malkovich is represented by Principato-Young Entertainment and Collette is represented by CAA.
