A&E Network has cut a two-year deal with the Broadcast Film Critics Association and the Broadcast Television Journalists Association to carry the Critics’ Choice film and TV kudocasts in 2015 and 2016.

The separate kudocasts most recently aired on the CW. The deal with A&E also calls for parent company A+E to handle international distribution rights for the events.

“Our new partnership will help establish The Critics’ Choice Awards as one of the most coveted awards by celebrating the best talent achievements in the entertainment industry with two of the most respected institutions in Hollywood,” said David McKillop, exec VP and g.m. of A&E Network. “These bi-annual live tent-pole events will be key highlights of the movie and television awards seasons for A&E viewers.”

The 20th Annual Critics’ Choice Movie Awards will air live on A&E from the Hollywood Palladium on Jan. 15, 2015.

The broadcast will be produced by Bob Bain and Berlin Entertainment.
