HONG KONG – Director, Michael Bay returned to Hong Kong Thursday (June 19) for the world premiere of “Transformers: Age of Extinction.” The fourth part of the “Transformers” sci-fi action fantasy had partly been shot in the city, with more across the border in mainland China. The opening event at the Hong Kong Cultural Centre with its spectacular harbor-front location was a noisy and prolonged affair. Bay was accompanied by stars Nicola Peltz, and Jack Reynor and composer Steve Jablonsky. Bay and the team will visit next Shanghai, where the film is set as the closing event of the Shanghai International Film Festival ahead of its imminent commercial release.
