HONG KONG – “The Great Gatsby” managed a clean sweep of all seven technical awards in the feature film segment of the Australian Academy of Cinema and Television Arts on Tuesday.

Top of the Lake” was the biggest winner in the television categories, claiming two of its six categories, for best sound and for best cinematography.

“Desert War” was the day’s only other multiple category winner. It claimed best editing and best sound in the documentary category.

“Gatsby,” a US-Australian co-venture directed by Australia’s Baz Luhrmann and shot largely in Australia, was named as winner in visual effects, cinematography, editing, sound, score, production design and costume design.
