YOUR MAMA’S NOTES: Bruce Willis and his (second) wife, Emma Heming, have been on a wild real estate ride the last year or two. Last month the 59-year old action pic veteran and the significantly younger model-actress forked over nine million clams for a 14-acre estate about 45 miles north of Midtown Manhattan in scenic and celebrity-studded Bedford, New York. Just a few months earlier the two-time Emmy winning “Moonlighting” and “Die Hard” franchise star unloaded a 10,000-square-foot-plus neo-Spanish manse on Benedict Canyon Drive in Beverly Hills for $16.5 million, and in March 2013 — about the time he first listed the above mentioned Bev Hills manse at $22 million — Willis and Heming paid U2 bassist Adam Clayton $8.685 million for a large, fourth-floor co-operative apartment at the elegant, twin towered Eldorado building in New York City.

The couple, parents to two small children, quickly embarked on an extensive and no-doubt egregiously expensive renovation of their newly acquired Eldorado digs that included a new kitchen, covering over the fireplace in the living room and complete removal of the wall between the living and dining room. While Your Mama was away on a week-plus vacay in Mexico last week — as we first learned upon our return from the vigilant kids at Curbed (via the New York Daily News and The Real Deal) — Willis and Heming heaved their freshly rehabbed and spacious although hardly huge Manhattan spread back on the market at $12.995 million. Our subsequent research reveals the apartment is already under contract with an unknown buyer at an unknown price.

Digital marketing materials show the corner apartment has three bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms, 50feet of park frontage and at least 18 over-sized casement windows, seven of which look into the tree tops along the sylvan western border of Central Park. Maintenance charges, as per listing details, ring up to a booty-clenching $6,831 per month, and other features of note include patinated steel doors and a state-of-the-art home automation system that controls the heating, cooling, lighting and audio-visual systems as well as the electric blinds.

The front door opens directly into a loft-like if somewhat low ceilinged foyer/living/dining space that all by itself spans more than 1,100 square feet as per Your Mama’s hard-working bedazzled abacus. The terrazzo-floored eat-in kitchen in the northwestern corner of the U-shaped apartment has a built-in three-stool dining space at one end of the center island, volcanic stone counter tops on custom white cabinetry, gleaming white subway tiled back splashes and walls and — natch — a slew of top-grade appliances. An adjoining and windowed service hall has a stacked washer and dryer and a quartet closets and/or pantries.

Both of the guest/family bedrooms have private attached bathrooms — the larger of which has a massive window for light and ventilation — and the corner master suite includes an en suite with double-headed steam shower and marble counter tops plus a fitted dressing room that connects through to the smaller of the two guest/family bedrooms that Willis and Heming appear to have used as a nursery for their newborn.

Mister Willis’ property portfolio still includes a modestly sized ranch house tucked into a terraced hillside off Mulholland Drive in Beverly Hills (Post Office) as well as an approximately 8,400-square-foot lakefront mansion near Sun Valley, Idaho, equipped with radiant heated decks and driveways that he listed in 2011 for $15 million and is still up for grabs at a substantially lower price of $8.8 million. So the scuttlebutt goes, Willis and Heming plan to buy a larger apartment in New York City that will better accommodate their growing family.
