Multichannel network StyleHaul, which is being acquired by RTL Group in a deal worth up to $200 million, has hired Noel Mika Bahamon to head up e-commerce strategy and consumer-product development.

Bahamon, who started at the fashion-and-beauty MCN on Oct. 30, is based in the company’s Los Angeles headquarters and reports to CEO Stephanie Horbaczewski.

Previously, Bahamon worked in the Walt Disney Imagineering theme parks group as a producer, working with teams around the world on new products and product categories. At the Mouse House, she was part of the team that led the opening of Shanghai Disney Resort in China. Prior to Disney, she ran Mieka A Toi, a sample-sale company she founded in 2004 that worked with brands including Gucci and Dolce & Gabbana.

As StyleHaul’s senior VP of strategic partnerships, Bahamon will lead strategy and the development of consumer products for the MCN’s talent across YouTube and other platforms.

Founded in 2011, StyleHaul generates more than 900 million video views per month. The RTL acquisition, expected to close by the end of the month, will increase the European broadcaster’s stake from 22.3% to 93.6%. RTL has the opportunity to acquire the remaining equity, which is owned by StyleHaul management and employees.

Other recent StyleHaul hires include Rob DeChiaro, a former AOL ad exec who is g.m. of StyleHaul Studios, and chief content officer Mia Goldwyn, formerly with Paramount Pictures’ digital division.
