LONDON — Comedy troupe Monty Python has launched its new website, which features artwork by Terry Gilliam.

The site, which was designed by Lips-iam, contains news about Python-related activity, links to upcoming releases and competitions, the Monty Python YouTube channel, an online store and iTunes page, and a media section with a selection of exclusive, new and archive videos and photographs. The site can be found here.

There is also an interactive Fan Wall for Python-related content posted by fans.

The site promises to become “the definitive online site for all things Python — just as soon as we are able to wade through (and dust off) the tons of photos, memorabilia and articles that are tucked away at Python HQ.”

The site is to add a collection of never-before-seen archive material, sleeve notes, production notes, scripts and other information relating to Monty Python’s books, films, TV shows, albums and live shows. There will also be “unseen and exciting information about the Pythons themselves.”
