The most recent Kickstarter-funded project from recognizable talent has found a home.

Gravitas Ventures acquired distribution rights to writer-director Anton King’s “Lust For Love,” the romantic comedy toplining a troupe of Joss Whedon alumni including Fran Kranz, Dichen Lachman and Beau Garrett.

The distrib, which primarily works in the digital space, plans to release the film Feb. 7 on VOD and across all other digital platforms.

“Lust For Love” tells the story of an all-too-earnest man, who enlists help from a mutual friend to woo the affection of his lifelong crush. Kranz and Lachman both starred in Whedon’s recent cult TV hit “Dollhouse.” Garrett had supporting roles in “Tron: Legacy” and “Fantastic 4: Rise of the Silver Surfer.”

King produced, along with Lachman and Jack Wylson. Adam J. Yeend, Andrew Napier and Sophie King co-produced.

The filmmakers ultimately raised more than $101,000 on Kickstarter, with investor perks including a digital download of the movie, signed copies of the DVD, as well as a seat at dinner party with the cast.
