Funny or Die Debuts ‘Walking Dead’ Recap Series

It looks like everyone’s capitalizing on the recap trend these days — even zombies. Will Ferrell’s comedy website Funny or Die just debuted a recap webseries for AMC’s “The Walking Dead,” titled “The Walking Fred,” and hosted by (you guessed it) Fred, one of the show’s many zombies.

The recap purports to be “kind of like ‘The Talking Dead,’ except with a more charming and … handsome host.” No response from Chris Hardwick yet. Unsurprisingly, Fred’s focus tends to be slightly skewed towards the hit show’s zombie-centric scenes, skipping over “boring human stuff” in favor of fun facts about zombies. Also, he’s on Tinder.

The series is written by and stars Luke Barnett, and directed by Vincent Masciale. While actual “Walking Dead” cast members appear elusive in the first episode, the series will supposedly feature real actors from the show in upcoming installments.
