If you weren’t among the lucky few who saw footage from the Netflix series “Marvel’s Daredevil” today at New York Comic Con, here are images of Charlie Cox in costume to hold you over.
One photo shows Cox in an early version of his Daredevil suit, inspired by Frank Miller and John Romita, Jr.’s seminal “Daredevil: Man Without Fear” series.
The second image shows Cox out of costume and in a much sharper grey suit as Matt Murdock, hiding a black eye behind retro shades.
Marvel also confirmed at NYCC that Ayelet Zurer (who will play Vanessa Marianna), Vondie Curtis Hall (Ben Urich), Bob Gunton (Leland Owlsley) and Toby Leonard Moore (Wesley) will round out the cast, which stars Deborah Ann Woll, Elden Henson, Rosario Dawson and Vincent D’Onofrio alongside Cox.
The 13-episode show, which will premiere in 2015, is Marvel’s first original series on Netflix. It’s exec produced by showrunner Steven S. DeKnight (“Spartacus,” “Buffy: The Vampire Slayer”) and Drew Goddard (“Lost,” “Buffy The Vampire Slayer”).
