Showtime’s deal with the third-biggest U.S. cable operator extends its TV Everywhere reach, as it catches up to the broad distribution of HBO Go.
Showtime Anytime is available to subs on Comcast, DirecTV, Time Warner Cable, Charter Communications, AT&T U-verse, Verizon FiOS, Cablevision Systems, Bright House Networks, CenturyLink Prism, Grande Communications and Mediacom. Dish Network is the largest pay-TV provider that doesn’t offer the service.
Showtime Anytime — available for no additional charge — includes current and past seasons of the cabler’s original series, including “Homeland,” “Dexter,” “Penny Dreadful,” “Ray Donovan” and “Masters of Sex,” as well as live broadcasts of Showtime’s East and West Coast feeds. The service is available on computers, iPhones and iPads, Android phones and tablets, Roku, and Amazon’s Kindle Fire tablets and Fire TV set-top.
Cox subs can sign in to the Showtime Anytime website and apps with their user ID and password.
