Condé Nast Entertainment has inked a deal with YouTube star Kandee Johnson, who has 2.4 million subscribers on YouTube, naming her lead beauty contributor.

CNÉ, the digital arm of the publishing company, said it will collaborate with Johnson on digital content creation, distribution, audience development and media sales for programming to debut in 2015. It’s the first of several such partnerships in the digital sphere, according to Condé Nast.

“I can’t wait to bring my style on beauty tips, tricks and secrets to this network,” Johnson said in a statement.

Johnson will star in multiple CNÉ-produced digital series across YouTube and Condé Nast channels including The Scene as well as other Condé Nast sites and CNÉ syndication partners including AOL, Yahoo, Dailymotion, Roku and Xbox. CNÉ also said it will work with Johnson to develop TV and film projects. (Disclosure: Penske Media Corp., Variety‘s parent company, is a content partner for The Scene.)

“Kandee represents a new generation of talent emerging on YouTube, and we are excited to work with her,” CNÉ president Dawn Ostroff said in a statement. “By pairing her perspective with our brands and content, our digital video business continues to be right in the sweet spot of millennial viewers.”

Under the pact, Johnson will provide curated video playlists and social-media support. Earlier this year, Johnson was featured in CNÉ’s series “Beauty Recovered for Glamour.”

Condé Nast will become the exclusive media-sales representative for Johnson’s YouTube channels, which represent approximately 50 million annual video views, under the pact.
