Steve Kazanjian is taking the reins at PromaxBDA as president-CEO of the industry org focused on marketing, promotion and design execs in TV and digital media.

Kazanjian has been a board member of Promax BDA. He has worked as VP of global creative for consumer packaging giant MWV and more recently as a brand marketing exec.

“As our media landscape rapidly evolves, disruption becomes opportunity. Marketers are at the forefront of assessing and impacting consumer behavior, which is why the support, services and leadership provided by PromaxBDA are more essential than ever,” said Joe Earley, Fox Television Group COO and co-chair of PromaxBDA.

Added co-chair Scott Chastain, senior VP of affiliate marketing at NBC: “We are confident that the PromaxBDA Board and, most importantly, our members will continue to thrive under his leadership as our association capitalizes on the incredible momentum we have built.”

Kazanjian takes over the top paid post at PromaxBDA from Jonathan Block-Verk, who left in November 2013 to head TV partnerships for the tech firm Shazam Entertainment.
