Bison Capital Partners has announced that it has closed a major investment in Ease Entertainment Services, the industry payroll and software services firm.

Ease provides studio-grade, all-in-one production management platforms that consist of finance applications and physical production automation tools. It also has the Ease Studio Hub, its information management and security system.

“Our strategy is rooted in leveraging tomorrow’s technology to create solutions that automate many of the administrative tasks that bog down producers. This allows them to spend more time on the creative process,” said Mike Rose, Ease founder and CEO. “Bison shares this vision and has made a substantial investment in the firm which allows us to continue to develop and launch the pioneering technology that distinguishes Ease from our competitors.”

“With its compelling technology and high quality services, we believe Ease is uniquely positioned to modernize the production process for its entertainment customers,” added Doug Trussler, partner at Bison Capital. “We are very excited to partner with Mike Rose and his management team as Ease pursues its growth objectives.

Precise terms of the investment were not disclosed.

Ease Entertainment is set to debut the next generation of services at a launch event on Nov. 5 at the SLS Hotel.
