Daniel Seah Appointed CEO of Digital Domain

HONG KONG – Daniel Seah, who was instrumental in the reverse takeover of visual effects group Digital Domain, has now been appointed as CEO of the Hong Kong-listed firm Digital Domain Holdings.

Fan Lei, an executive director of the company since 2009, has been promoted to deputy chairman.

The appointments were approved on Sept. 29.

Seah, a 30-year-old investment banker, is expected to broker strategic partnerships, steer the company into new media and act as a bridge between the Chinese and U.S. film industries.

The company recently reported losses of US$7.51 million (HK$58.2 million) on revenues of US$55.4 million (HK$429 million) in the six months to end of June.
